Luca Modenese

Dr. Luca Modenese is an Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Faculty of Engineering). His research focuses on computational biomechanics, musculoskeletal modeling, and finite element analysis with clinical applications. He holds a PhD from Imperial College (2013) and postdoctoral experience at Griffith University and Stanford University. Key contributions include OpenSim plugins for muscle parameter estimation and hip joint modeling. His work integrates musculoskeletal simulations with clinical data to optimize surgical outcomes and bone structure prediction. Notable grants include an Imperial College Research Fellowship (2017).
