Luc Henrard

Luc Henrard is a Full Professor of Physics at the University of Namur, specializing in solid-state physics and nanomaterials. He directs research on 2D materials, plasmonics, and computational modeling of electronic properties. Previously head of the Physics Department (2017-2020), he established the university's High-Performance Computing Center.

His group investigates growth mechanisms of graphene/boron nitride heterostructures and plasmonic properties of metal oxides for electrochromic applications. Recent publications focus on CVD optimization for 2D materials and jellium system plasmonics.
