Luc Demers

Luc Demers is an Assistant Professor in the Architecture Department at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA). He is also an exhibiting artist, freelance photographer, and educator. His roles combine academic teaching, artistic practice, and commercial work.

Education:

• BFA in Art with a concentration in Photography from the University of Southern Maine (USM)
• MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts (2010)

Demers has maintained an active artistic career since the 1990s, working as a commercial photographer and contributing editorial content to publications like The Casco Bay Weekly and The Maine Times.
