LuAnne Hicks serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing within the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University. With over 20 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is deeply committed to transforming nursing education through service-oriented mentorship and leadership development.
Her professional focus centers on nursing education, family practice nursing, and advanced practice nursing. She champions culturally sensitive leadership and mentoring as catalysts for professional transformation, emphasizing positivity, teamwork, and the mutual exchange of ideas. Guided by the Jesuit principle of Magis ('the more'), she inspires creativity in service to others while encouraging nurses to maximize their potential.
