Dr. Lu Chien-Chih is a Research Fellow affiliated with the College of Law at National Chengchi University. He served as a Visiting Fellow at the European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan from June to July 2019. His expertise spans copyright law, music licensing, and cultural policy, with a focus on international intellectual property issues and social justice. He holds certifications from UC Berkeley in International and Comparative Law, and Public Interest and Social Justice.
Education: Completed research projects at UC Berkeley, including roles as a student editor of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law and chair of the Karuk-Berkeley Indigenous Law Collaborative. He has been involved with the Music Copyright Infringement Resource project at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law since 2012.
Research Interests: His work addresses legal frameworks for artistic freedom, music industry licensing models, and the intersection of cultural policy with intellectual property. He has contributed to comparative analyses of copyright systems in the U.S. and Mandarin-speaking markets.
