Louise Griffiths

Dr. Louise Griffiths is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University. She teaches Health and Social Care, overseeing research modules across all undergraduate years and organizing the annual undergraduate research conference involving collaboration with local employers and schools.

Her research focuses on prison peer support systems, particularly the Prison Listener Scheme's impact on reducing self-harm in female prisons. Methodologically, she employs qualitative data collection and thematic analysis via grounded theory. While her PhD examined female prisons, her MSc research explored similar dynamics in male prison environments.
