Louise Captein

Louise Captein is an Associate Professor at Otterbein University, where she teaches Painting, Drawing, Color Principles, and Fine Arts courses in the Honors Program and Integrative Studies. She creates abstract oil paintings and paper collages exhibited nationally and internationally, including in The Netherlands. Her hard-edge abstract works and small-scale collages have earned awards and critical acclaim for their "quixotic, masterful, and joyous" qualities.
