Louise Brierley

Louise Brierley is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Practice at the University of Wolverhampton, affiliated with the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. She joined the university in August 2017 as a full-time lecturer, teaching on the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course.

• Research Interests: Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Skills and Practice, Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response (EPRR)
• Experience: 24 years in ambulance services (1993–2017), including roles as Paramedic, Paramedic Officer, and Strategic Operational Commander
• Qualification: MSc in Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response (2014)

Her work focuses on trauma, critical care, and operational healthcare systems, informed by extensive field experience in emergency response and care pathway development.
