Louise A Kelly

Louise A Kelly serves as Associate Professor of Exercise Science at California Lutheran University, where she has held a faculty position since 2008. Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Pediatric Exercise Science from the University of Glasgow and advanced training through a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Southern California.

Her current research emphasizes exercise-based solutions for pediatric metabolic health, utilizing sophisticated methodologies such as doubly labeled water analysis, indirect calorimetry, accelerometer monitoring, and comprehensive nutritional assessment.

Leadership and Funding: Dr. Kelly directed the Centre for Academic Service Learning (CASL) for three years and served as site Principal Investigator for a major NCAA and Department of Defense-funded longitudinal study examining concussion impacts.
