Louis-Martin Rousseau

Louis-Martin Rousseau is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. He holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Healthcare Analytics and Logistics (HANALOG) and manages the Combinatorial Optimization and Reasoning in Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CORAIL). He is also a member of the Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation (CIRRELT) and the Institute for Data Valorization (IVADO).

His research focuses on hybridizing classical operations research techniques with constraint programming (AI methods) for applications in transport logistics, schedule optimization, and healthcare resource management. He has pioneered work in healthcare analytics, particularly in liver transplantation survival prediction (CASE method), radiation therapy treatment planning, and pandemic triage protocols.
