Louis Bont is a Professor in Pediatrics at University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands, and an Adjunct Professor at Yale School of Public Health. He is a Pediatrician Infectiologist-Immunologist, Department Head at Wilhelmina Children's Hospital, and founding chairman of ReSViNET, an international RSV research consortium. His work focuses on RSV pathogenesis, burden of disease, molecular epidemiology, and vaccine development.
Dr. Bont leads key global initiatives such as the INFORM study (>2000 children) and the RSV GOLD mortality registry funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
