Lotte Abildgren

Lotte Abildgren is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, affiliated with Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the Centre for Patient Communication (CFPK) in Odense. She holds roles as a researcher, education coordinator, and clinical nurse specialist with over 25 years of healthcare experience. Her academic background includes a PhD from the Faculty of Health Sciences (Syddansk Universitet).

Research focuses on patient safety, healthcare teamwork, and simulation-based training efficacy. Key areas include human factor skill transfer from training to clinical practice, adverse event prevention, and interprofessional education.
