Lori Mars

Lori Mars, JD, LLM, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She currently serves as Director of the National Center on Elder Abuse and leads the Elder Abuse Guide for Law Enforcement initiative. Her work focuses on the intersection of law, aging, education, and elder abuse prevention.

Ms. Mars holds a Master’s in Law (LLM) in Alternative Dispute Resolution and maintains volunteer roles as a long-term care ombudsman. Her professional background includes over 20 years of legal practice combined with healthcare advocacy.

Key areas of expertise include elder abuse policy development, interdisciplinary collaboration in aging care, and legal frameworks for long-term care oversight.
