Lorena Pradal is a lecturer in the Department of Fine Art Printmaking at Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach (HfG Offenbach), specializing in printmaking and lithography. She graduated from the National University of the Arts (UNA) in 2002 and later specialized at the Tamarind Institute, University of New Mexico in 2011.
Her research and artistic practice focus on printmaking, lithography, and the restoration of graphic arts workshops. She has contributed to journals like AI & Society, Printmaking Today, and Grapheion, emphasizing artistic experimentation and technical advancements in printmaking. Her work has been exhibited internationally at institutions such as the Museo Reina Sofía, the London Original Print Fair, and the FIG Bilbao Exhibition.
Pradal has organized significant events, including the 1st International Lithography Meeting at UNA, and served as a juror for biennials and salons. She also presented at international conferences, including those at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Senefelder Foundation in Germany.
At HfG Offenbach, she teaches specialized printmaking courses (Levels I, II, IV) and coordinates the Lithography Research and Experimentation Workshop at Museo de la Cárcova, UNA, overseeing its restoration and enhancement.
