Lora Council

Lora Council, MD, MPH, MHCM is a Faculty Affiliate at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care with extensive leadership experience in ambulatory care systems. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Yuvo Health, supporting Federally Qualified Health Centers' transition to value-based care, and previously held executive roles at Cambridge Health Alliance and Dartmouth Health.

Her educational credentials include:

• Medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School
• MPH from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice
• Masters in Health Care Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

Dr. Council specializes in person-centered care delivery transformation across complex health systems, with demonstrated success in enhancing patient experience while reducing costs and improving provider work life. Her research focuses on integrated complex care models, equitable health ecosystem design, and reframing healthcare narratives to combat burnout through strategic population health management and team-based care implementation.

She maintains active clinical practice as a board-certified family physician with dual certification in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine.
