Longfei Xing is a Lecturer in the Department of Modern Chinese Studies at the University of Cologne. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation titled “Western Students in China in the 1970s: Policies and Education”. From 2014 to 2015, she served as a Chinese language instructor at the Confucius Institute Nürnberg-Erlangen. Since 2012, she has also taught Chinese as a foreign language at the Beijing Language and Culture University.
