Logan Connors

Logan Connors is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Miami. He also serves as Faculty Director of UParis. His work bridges theater studies, cultural history, and interdisciplinary analysis of 18th-century France and its colonial empire.

• Research Interests: Focus on intersections of theater, war, and revolution; colonial Caribbean performance; Enlightenment theories of emotion; and military influence on cultural production.
• Publications: Include monographs like Theater, War and Revolution in Eighteenth-Century France and Its Empire (2023) and The Emergence of a Theatrical Science of Man in France, 1660-1740 (2020). His scholarship explores how theater reimagined military practices and human behavior during transformative historical periods.
