Loïc Alexandre

Loïc Alexandre serves as an ATER (Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche) in the Acoustics team at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics (LMFA), affiliated with Ecole Centrale de Lyon.

His research specialization centers on acoustic engineering with particular focus on active control of synthesized sound fields in listening environments. His work contributes to the broader research activities of the Acoustics department which includes aeroacoustics of rotating machines, dynamics of compressible shear flows, and propagation in inhomogeneous media.

Dr. Alexandre completed his doctoral thesis titled "Active control of a synthesized acoustic field in a listening room" under the supervision of Marie-Annick Galland and Pierre Lecomte.

He is based at Building H10, office A18 at Ecole Centrale de Lyon's campus located at 36 Avenue Guy de Collongue, 69134 ECULLY Cedex, France.
