Ljerka Sedlan König

Ljerka Sedlan König is a Full Professor at the Department of Management, Organization and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Economics, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. Permanently employed since 1992 and promoted to Full Professor in 2025, she teaches Public Speaking Skills and Business Negotiation across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

Her research focuses on:

• Business Communication methodologies
• Development of entrepreneurial behavior and education
• Business negotiation techniques and public speaking skills
• Student employability through entrepreneurial competencies
• Societal impacts of aging population

Professor Sedlan König has published numerous scientific papers and four textbooks on business correspondence, negotiation, public speaking, and business telephony. Her research projects include 'Increasing the employability of students at JJ Strossmayer University' (2015-2016) and several initiatives addressing entrepreneurship development and aging population challenges.

Professional engagements include:

• Workshop leader at Osijek Entrepreneurship Centre
• Trainer at London School of Public Relations
• Lecturer for Croatian Employers' Association (PUMA programme)
• Member of international scientific committees for three conferences
• Program Committee member for Creative Treasury Symposium (2018)

She maintains regular consultations in Cabinet 256 every Monday from 12:00-13:00.
