Lizzie Monroe

Lizzie Monroe serves as a Clinical Professor in Lipscomb University's School of Physician Assistant Studies, joining the faculty in 2023 after extensive clinical practice.

Education:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Tennessee Technological University
• M.D., Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University

Her expertise spans women's health and primary care, developed through family medicine residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Nashville system and subsequent VA practice at Alvin C. York campus. Dr. Monroe's academic focus centers on advancing Physician Assistant education through clinical experience integration.

Prior to Lipscomb, she practiced at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford and Saint Louise Family Medicine Center, bringing frontline healthcare insights to her teaching role.
