Lizette Ojeda

Dr. Lizette Ojeda is an Associate Professor and Licensed Psychologist in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri and has expertise in career development, academic persistence, diversity/gender issues, and positive psychological functioning among Latino populations. Her research focuses on psychosocial factors influencing Mexican American and Latino communities, including mental health, cultural adaptation, and educational outcomes.

Her studies often employ mixed-methods frameworks to address systemic inequities.
