Dr. Liz Matykiewicz is Associate Dean and Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of York's School for Business and Society. She teaches public sector management, strategic management, health management and research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Her research focuses on organizational theory and management, including organizational development, leadership, change, and identity construction within organizations. Her doctoral research at the University of York examined role and identity construction in the English National Health Service.
Prior to joining academia, she worked in not-for-profit organizations including The British Council and The King's Fund, where she coordinated international development projects and developed expertise in health service management. She serves as a Governor at a local primary school and contributes to leadership of online programs at York.
