Dr. Lisa Williams is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Animal and Agriculture at Hartpury University, specializing in zoonotic diseases, particularly Campylobacter spp. in poultry and livestock. She holds a BSc from BathSpa University College, an MSc from the University of Bristol in Meat Science, and a PhD in Microbiology (2010) focusing on Campylobacter detection methods. Prior to academia, she worked at the Health Protection Agency and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Bristol and Swansea University before joining Hartpury in 2020.
