Lisa Wallace

Lisa Wallace is an Adjunct Faculty/Lecturer in Communication Design & Strategy at the College for Creative Studies (CCS), Detroit. She is also a professional brand and packaging designer, running her own firm, Lisa Wallace Design, where she provides strategic design solutions for clients including Founders Brewing, McClure’s Pickles, and ACDelco/GM Genuine Parts.

Her research and professional interests center around systematic, consumer-driven design that balances brand standards with creative innovation. She emphasizes work that is relatable yet fresh, comforting yet boundary-pushing—particularly in the packaging domain. She earned her BFA from the College for Creative Studies and began her career at Team Detroit (now GTB), later leading design teams at Driven before founding her own studio. She is actively engaged in both academic instruction and professional practice.
