Dr. Lisa Riste is a Research Fellow affiliated with the NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre and the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Manchester. She also holds an honorary position at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust and leads FLAG-Me CIC. Her work focuses on medication safety, particularly for individuals with hidden impairments such as sight or hearing challenges. She has co-designed the FLAG-Me Vision and Sound software to alert pharmacists to these impairments.

Articles and Contributions: Dr. Riste has published on topics including long-COVID interventions, AI in healthcare decision-making, and medication safety for visually impaired patients. Her recent work explores manual therapies for sleep improvement in long-COVID and the ethical implications of AI explainability in medical contexts.
