Lisa Ragaza, M.S., is an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Haven within the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, teaching Firearms Evidence Analysis. She is also an Associate Professor at Post University in Waterbury, CT, where she instructs Introduction to Forensic Science.
Her expertise spans forensic science, crime scene investigation, footwear and tire track analysis, and firearms examination. She is certified as a footwear examiner by the International Association for Identification (IAI) and as an instructor in Crime Scene Processing and Criminalistics by the Connecticut Police Officers Standards and Training Council. She has held leadership roles in the Connecticut IAI chapter and participates in national forensic standards committees.
Lisa currently works with the State of Connecticut’s Division of Scientific Services in the Firearms Unit, previously serving as a Crime Scene Technician at the Waterbury Police Department. Her professional affiliations include the IAI, Organization of Scientific Area Committees, and Academy Standards Board.
