Prof. Lisa Pfahl is affiliated with the University of Innsbruck's Institut für Erziehungswissenschaft. Her research focuses on social inequality, gender studies, disability studies, and interpretive methodologies. She holds a diploma in sociology from Free University Berlin and conducted doctoral research at the University of Göttingen and Max Planck Institute for Human Development.
