Dr Lisa Mellon is a Lecturer in Health Psychology at RCSI's School of Population Health. She holds a PhD from RCSI, MSc in Health Psychology (NUI Galway), BA in Psychology (NUI Galway), and MSc in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (University College Cork).
Her expertise includes health behavior change, motivational interviewing, and lifestyle medicine. She developed the HSE National Undergraduate Curriculum for Chronic Disease Prevention and co-founded the Irish Society for Lifestyle Medicine.
Awards include the 2021 National Teaching Hero Award for health professions education.
