Lisa Mastramico

Lisa Mastramico serves as Lecturer and Internship Coordinator in the Department of Communications at California State University, Dominguez Hills within the College of Arts & Humanities, where she oversees practicum experiences across the entire college.

• M.A. in Social Documentation from University of California, Santa Cruz
• B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Santa Barbara

Professor Mastramico's work centers on documentary film production with rigorous focus on social justice narratives and character-driven storytelling. Her creative output has been screened internationally across five countries (United States, Canada, Mexico, Nicaragua, Brazil) through film festivals and Free Speech TV, reflecting deep engagement with community media as both pedagogical tool and activist platform.
