Dr. Lisa Lole is a Lecturer in Psychology at Central Queensland University within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. Lisa Lole's research centers around behavioral addictions, health, and motivation psychology, with a strong focus on problem gambling, modern technology, and motivations for engagement. Dr. Lole has received several awards including Examiners' Commendation for Outstanding Thesis for her PhD, best post-graduate student poster and abstract awards from the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology, and an Australian Post-graduate Award (Industry) for her PhD candidature.

She has secured numerous research grants, particularly from the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation, NSW Office of Responsible Gambling, and Gambling Research Australia. Her current research projects focus on youth gambling, wagering marketing practices, and gambling harm among young people. She is an active member of the Experimental Gambling Research Laboratory at CQUniversity Australia and serves as a reviewer for various academic journals.
