Dr. Lisa Lix is Professor and Associate Head in Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba's Max Rady College of Medicine, holding a Canada Research Chair in Methods for Electronic Health Data Quality. She directs the Data Science Team at the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation.
Research develops statistical methods for population health research using electronic databases, focusing on: data quality assessment; fracture risk prediction; patient-reported outcome measures; and drug safety surveillance. She co-leads national initiatives including Health Data Research Network Canada's algorithms working group.
