Lisa Klotz is an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Davis, where she teaches Legal Reasoning and Writing to undergraduates. She has also taught legal writing to law students at the UNC School of Law and UC Davis School of Law, and worked as a prosecutor in California and Guam, followed by civil litigation defense in Guam and Los Angeles.

Her scholarship explores intersections between law and literature in early modern England, alongside legal writing pedagogy, which she presents at national and international conferences.
