Lisa Jane Miller is a Professor of Psychology and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and founder of the Spirituality, Mind, Body Institute (SMBI). She holds a B.A. from Yale University, an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed post-doctoral work at Columbia University's College of Physicians & Surgeons. Her research focuses on spirituality's intersection with mental health, neuroscience, and clinical psychology, particularly addressing depression, substance abuse, and wellness interventions across lifespan development.
