Lisa Dowdall

Lisa Dowdall is a viola faculty member in the Strings department at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). She specializes in chamber music across historical periods and contemporary genres, blending classical traditions with experimental collaborations. Her performance career spans major venues like Carnegie Hall, BBC Proms, and the Edinburgh Festival, alongside residencies at institutions such as Princeton University and Aldeburgh Residencies.
