Lisa Cowan

Lisa Cowan serves as a Lecturer in the Law and Philosophy division at the University of Stirling, where she contributes to academic instruction and research within this interdisciplinary field.

Her scholarly work spans the intersection of legal theory and philosophical inquiry, with particular emphasis on:

• Jurisprudence and legal philosophy
• Ethical frameworks in law
• Philosophical foundations of legal systems
• Normative theories of justice
• Historical development of legal thought
• Contemporary debates in legal theory
