About
Lisa Couzens is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy within the Faculty of Health at Southern Cross University. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Western Sydney and a Bachelor of Primary Education Studies from Charles Sturt University.
Research Interests: Lisa's work focuses on pressure injury management, microclimate responses in wheelchair cushions, disability, and wheelchair prescription. Her PhD research at Southern Cross University explores the intersection of these areas to improve healthcare outcomes for individuals with high mobility needs.
