Lisa Brundage

Lisa Brundage is a Researcher at Macaulay Honors College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY). She holds a Ph.D. in English from the CUNY Graduate Center, focusing on race, sexuality, and motherhood in interwar literature.

Her current work revolves around academic technology integration and experiential learning. She directs the Teaching and Learning Collaboratory, supervising postdocs and graduate students to enhance seminars with pedagogically appropriate tools. She co-organizes initiatives like BioBlitz, IDEA Day, and Night at the Museum to foster interdisciplinary engagement.

Lisa’s research spans two broad areas: pedagogical innovation through technology and critical humanities analyzing race and gender in historical contexts. Her 2012-2023 publications reflect these dual interests, blending literary analysis with educational experimentation.
