Lisa Ahearn

Lisa Ahearn is an Associate Professor at Plymouth State University, with a career spanning academic and athletic administration roles. She earned her EdD in Sports Management and Leadership Studies from the United States Sports Academy, an M.S. in Sport Psychology from Ithaca College, and a B.S. in Physical Education with concentrations in Athletic Training and Coaching from Plymouth State University.

• Research focuses on crisis management and emergency action planning in athletic contexts.
• Formerly served as Chair of the Sport and Exercise Science Department at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for 10 years.
• Experience as a certified athletic trainer at NCAA Division II/III levels and Senior Woman Administrator.
