Linhui Xie

Dr. Linhui Xie is a Research Fellow at the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science within Yale School of Medicine, Yale University.

• Research Assistant at Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center during doctoral studies

His research focuses on computational modeling, bioinformatics, computational systems biology, and interpretable AI, with applications in neurodegeneration, human brain connectomes, heterogeneous multi-omic data analysis, neuroimaging, pathway modeling, T cell receptor binding, B cell development, and autoimmune disease mechanisms. At Yale, he collaborates with Dr. María Rodríguez Martínez to advance data-driven immunology and neurodegenerative disorder research.

Dr. Xie actively participates in Yale BIDS’ interdisciplinary research team, leveraging its collaborative spirit and cutting-edge biomedical data science infrastructure. He previously contributed to Alzheimer’s disease research at Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and explored genetic association studies at University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of academia, Dr. Xie enjoys cycling, running, swimming, cooking, and family time. He completed a 25-day cycling journey spanning 1,300 miles through high-altitude terrain, reflecting his dedication to physical challenges and outdoor adventures.
