Dr. Line Henriksen serves as a Lecturer in Gender Studies at the University of Copenhagen and holds a Visiting Fellow position at the Humanities Research Centre, Australian National University.

Her research interrogates the intersections of Gender Studies, Monster Theory, and digital culture through frameworks of hauntology and ethics. She analyzes how digital media reshapes monstrous archetypes and ethical frameworks, as demonstrated in her monograph In the Company of Ghosts (2016) and publications in Women & Performance and Somatechnics. Current work explores void ethics and digital weirdness through her project "Signals from the end of the world. An ethics of the void, the weird and the web".
As a founding member of The Monster Network, she cultivates interdisciplinary collaborations on monstrosity studies. Her creative practice extends to fiction writing published in Andromeda Spaceways and Tales to Terrify, bridging academic theory with speculative storytelling.
