Lindsey Piazza

Lindsey Piazza is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University's College of Liberal Arts. She works with graduate students in the Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic, engages in community outreach, presents at state and national conferences, and teaches undergraduate courses.

• Specializes in early language development, autism, social skills, and alternative/augmentative communication (AAC).
• PEERS certified and serves as an instructor for SLHS EAGLES Social Skills courses.
• Holds ASHA certification and ABESPA licensure; earned both degrees from Auburn University.

Her research focuses on enhancing graduate and undergraduate education in communication disorders, particularly through thesis pursuit analysis and writing assessment tools. She also investigates social and academic challenges faced by children with autism.
