Lindsey Hansen

Lindsey Hansen is a Lecturer in the Department of Art History and Fine Arts at the American University of Paris (AUP). She specializes in 13th-century French Gothic architectural sculpture, with a focus on cathedrals like Amiens, Bourges, and Reims. Since relocating to Paris in 2016, she has become a nationally-certified tour guide, balancing academic work with professional guiding. She teaches art history courses leveraging Paris’ museums and has developed study programs for U.S. universities. As a guide, she works with Context Travel and manages her private business, leading tours at institutions like the Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle.
