Lindsay Weightman

Lindsay Weightman is an Associate Professor at the Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University, specializing in World Music and Music History. She teaches courses such as "World Music and Cultures" and Keyboard Harmony, while also maintaining a private piano studio.

Her research interests focus on cross-cultural musical traditions, with a particular emphasis on global music education and collaborative piano performance. Her career spans three continents, including teaching roles in England, Egypt, and the United States.

She has performed extensively in diverse musical ensembles, ranging from instrumental/vocal chamber groups to opera and musical theatre productions. Her professional experience includes former teaching positions at Penn State University, Albright College, Wilmington Music School, and leadership as head of department at The Academy of Community Music.
