Lindiwe Majele Sibanda

Professor Lindiwe Majele Sibanda is an animal scientist, practicing farmer, and policy advisor with extensive leadership experience in African and global agricultural institutions. She currently serves as Chair of the Council at the National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe), Extra Ordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria (South Africa), and Chair of the CGIAR System Board. Additional roles include Associate Fellow at Chatham House, Board member at Nestlé (Sustainability Committee), and participation in Champions 12.3 to advance UN SDG 12.3.

Her work emphasizes food security, nutrition, and climate adaptation strategies.
