Linda Wray is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the School of Nursing, Long Island University (Brooklyn, NY). She holds an MSN (2016), BSN (2014) from Long Island University, and an A.A.S Degree in Licensed Practical Nurse (1996 & 1994) from Iona College. With 22 years of nursing experience, her expertise lies in pediatrics, particularly in outpatient pediatric infusion care and pediatric rheumatology.
Dr. Wray co-founded the Outpatient Pediatric Infusion Center at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York and actively contributed to committees there. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) and a member of the Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN), where she co-authored the SPN Position Statement on Transition of Pediatric Patients into Adult Care (2016) and currently co-chairs the Special Interest Group on Pediatric Ambulatory Care.
Her professional focus includes improving patient compliance through education and advancing transitional care strategies for pediatric patients. She has presented at the Norvartis Conference (2013) on pediatric rheumatology patient education.
