About
Linda Repetto is a postdoctoral researcher at Human Technopole's Zuccolo Group, focusing on genetic and proteomic signatures of menopause and female reproductive health traits. She holds a PhD in proteomics from the University of Edinburgh, where she studied under Professor Xia Shen (University of Edinburgh, Karolinska Institutet, Fudan University), Dr. Pau Navarro (University of Edinburgh), and Professor Jim Wilson (University of Edinburgh).
Education:
- PhD in Proteomics, University of Edinburgh
- MSc by Research in Integrative Neuroscience, University of Edinburgh
- BSc in Biomedical Sciences, University College Maastricht
Research Interests:
Linda’s work bridges genetics, proteomics, and neurobiology, emphasizing molecular mechanisms underlying behavioral traits and diseases. Her research explores plasma proteomic regulation, cis-genetic influences on neuroproteins, and their roles in neuropsychiatric disorders and female health.
Publication Trends:
Linda’s recent Nature Human Behavior study (2024) examines genome-wide associations of 184 neuro-related proteins in plasma, identifying 125 cis-pQTLs. This reflects her focus on population-scale molecular genetics and biomarker discovery for complex traits.
