Linda Balzer

Linda Balzer is a Teaching Professor at Saarland University, affiliated with the Faculty of Catholic Theology. She serves as a Fachvertreterin in Religious Studies with a focus on Antisemitism Research and is a Vertrauensdozentin, supporting academic and religious guidance within Catholic Theology. She leads the LeRP - Lernwerkstatt Religion Plural, an initiative promoting pluralistic religious education.

Her research interests center on critical themes in contemporary religious discourse, particularly antisemitism, racism, and theological perspectives on social justice. These interests are reflected in her teaching, public engagement, and leadership in educational workshops and lectures. Linda Balzer plays a key role in mentoring and coordinating academic and student assistants, contributing to research and outreach activities. She leads the LeRP - Lernwerkstatt Religion Plural, a dedicated space for exploring religion in pluralistic contexts, emphasizing dialogue, education, and critical reflection on contemporary religious issues.
