Lina Mu, PhD, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health at the University at Buffalo's School of Public Health and Health Professions. She serves as Director of the Office of Global Health Initiatives. Her research focuses on environmental exposures (air pollution, chemical contaminants), gene-environment interactions, and their links to cancer (gastric, liver, lung), cardiometabolic diseases, and child development. She has held positions at Yale University, UCLA, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
