Lin Zhu

Lin Zhu serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Communication Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston, bringing extensive research and teaching experience from both U.S. and Chinese academic contexts.

Her cross-cultural research analyzes how negotiators' emotions influence behavioral dynamics and outcomes in international contexts, contributing to frameworks for effective intercultural negotiation strategies.

Dr. Zhu actively advances global education through leadership in study abroad programs and international exchange initiatives, designing curricula that bridge cultural communication gaps while teaching core courses including intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, research methods, and public speaking.
