Lin Yee Chen

Lin Yee Chen is a Professor of Medicine in the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota, where she serves as Director of the Lillehei Heart Institute and holds the Fred C. and Katherine B. Andersen Chair in Adult Cardiology. She is additionally faculty for the PhD Program in Epidemiology and MS in Clinical Research programs.

Her research focuses on Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine, with significant contributions to Epidemiology and Clinical Research methodologies. These interdisciplinary interests align with her leadership roles in cardiovascular research and academic training programs.

She directs the Chen Lab, which drives innovation in cardiac disease mechanisms and therapeutic approaches, leveraging institutional resources from the Lillehei Heart Institute.
